The New Christy Minstrals (Still Under the Direction of Randy Sparks). A legacy band, with many of the original people still in it! I had my hands tied, slightly, when it came to the cover- they wanted this very wide shot of them in the desert, but with the woman on the right edited in to replace someone who wasn't in the band any more- It's not my best photoshoped moment, mostly for color and atmospheric matching, but it worked, and they were happy with it. The back cover isn't much to write home about, but that's because I spent (probably waaaay to much) time on the inside spread! I wanted to play up them as a road band, their legacy, and the history they play in performing Americana music. It's one of my proudest moments in designing these programs.
